Felting love!

Introducing: The ARtsy-FaRtsy Girls!

We are a group of Marine-on-St. Croix women who are passionate about art and crafting. Yes, our town is as idyllic as it sounds. And yes, we love coffee, tea and a good "chin wag."  We had art classes for children last summer, and this summer, we are pleased to offer a variety of programming as well.

We love fiber arts, crochet, painting, felting, modge podge, paper, fabric and glitter.  Not all of our efforts are successful, and there always seems to be one of us that takes off  in a certain media.

You can never have too many cherries! Hee, hee!

Pictures from the ladies at the Nest!

Helene Anderson, our resident fiber artist, made this bag--
her first attempt at  felting crochet.

I tried the old Pinterest trick of writing on mugs
to design a logo for our group;
unfortunately, it washed off!
Ah, Pinterest, you are so deceptive!

However, I did try the necklaces below.
They were easy, but they are not very original.
Hmmm, maybe Pinterest is not worth the amount
of time I spend on it!
